Philippine Overseas Foreign Workers

are huge pillars of the nation’s society.

This is Information Central for
OFWs and their families.
It’s
all about OFWs LIVES – and
the lives of those left behind.

About 10% of the Philippine population
works all over the world.
We work
overseas – leave our families and friends
– because our economy can’t create
enough jobs in our country. It’s a
tragedy.

We work as engineers, house helpers,
nurses, construction workers, doctors,
truck drivers, more. We work on land,
sea and air.

After paying our living expenses – we
manage to send some $20 billion dollars
home every year to help support our
families, pay for kid’s schooling,
make our retirements secure.
